Frozen Mimosa Float

Jump to recipe

A punch bowl full of colorful sherbet and ginger ale was a birthday party staple when I was a kid. It’s still perfect for a party — part drink, part dessert, part centerpiece. Replace the ginger ale with champagne and you have a Frozen Mimosa Float, a quick and simple adults-only float that will add a burst of fun and flavor to your next party!

Frozen Mimosa Float

Any flavor of sorbet or sherbet will work, but I like to use orange to mimic my favorite morning cocktail, a mimosa.

Pair your Frozen Mimosa Float with the rest of my New Year’s Eve menu. Get the recipes here:

TIPS:

Don’t mix this ahead! It’s still tasty when the sorbet melts, but it’s better before.
